A good garden works all year
Most portfolios only show June. We photograph every garden through the year — because you'll live with it in February too.

What clients say

“Rhys and the team turned a dark, soggy yard into the room we spend every evening in. The porcelain and corten planters look like they were always meant to be there. Immaculate site, kept us informed the whole way.”
“Three phases over a year and every one ran to the day. The planting has come up exactly as the plan promised — the borders in June are unreal. Genuinely lovely people to have in your garden.”
“We had two other quotes that were vague and a bit cheaper. Greenford drew us a proper plan and explained every cost. Worth every penny — the new terrace has completely changed how we use the house.”
“Beautiful work on the paving and steps. Weather pushed us back a few days in January but they were honest about it and made up the time. The lawn came through spring perfectly.”

Questions people ask us
Straight answers on cost, timing and how a garden project actually runs — the things you'd ask over a cup of tea on the first visit.
How much does a landscaped garden cost in Cardiff?
Most full garden projects we build in Cardiff and the Vale run between £12,000 and £45,000, depending on size, levels and materials. A new patio and planting for a typical terrace garden usually lands around £6,000–£10,000. We give a fixed written quote after a free on-site visit — no ballpark-only guesswork.
Do I need a design before you start building?
For anything beyond a straightforward patio, yes. A drawn plan means levels, drainage and planting are resolved on paper — which is far cheaper than changing your mind once the digger has arrived. Our design fee is redeemable against the build if you go ahead with us.
When is the best time of year to landscape a garden?
Hard landscaping — paving, walls, structures — can be built all year round in South Wales; we simply work with the weather. Planting is best in autumn and early spring when the soil is warm and moist, but we plant successfully through summer with the right aftercare and watering plan.
How long does a garden project take?
A courtyard or small rear garden is typically two to three weeks on site. A larger family garden with structures and planting runs four to eight weeks. We give you a week-by-week programme with the quote so you always know what is happening next.
Do you offer garden maintenance after the build?
Yes. We look after gardens we have designed and built with seasonal visits — pruning, feeding, mulching and border editing at the right point in the year. Keeping the same team that planted it means nothing gets cut back at the wrong time.
Which areas around Cardiff do you cover?
We work across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan — Pontcanna, Penarth, Llandaff, Cyncoed, Roath, Whitchurch, Radyr, Dinas Powys and Cowbridge. If you are a little further out, ask; we travel for the right project.
